Smoke detectors should be installed on each level of your home and in sleeping areas. 

Smoke detectors should be replaced every ten years. 

It is important to test your smoke detector monthly.

Change Your Clocks ~ Change Your Batteries:

Make it a habit to change the batteries in your smoke detectors when you change your clocks during Day Light Savings Time.
