Each locality shall have three members appointed to their local Electoral Board. The members are appointed by the local Circuit Court judge and serve staggered three year terms. In the appointment of the Electoral Board, representation shall be given to each of the two political parties with the highest number of members be given to the party that represents the current Governor‘s party affiliation. If a Governor was not elected as the candidate of a political party, representation shall be given to each of the political parties. Two board members shall be of the political party having the highest number of members in the General Assembly.
