NAME OF PUBLIC BODY 

Greenbackville Boat Harbor Committee

PURPOSE

To grant leases or permits for the use or occupancy of land in the boat harbor tract.  To direct where houseboats and monitors are tied up, where pleasure craft shall be moored or anchored, and where seafood-industry boats are moored, anchored, or drawn up.  To levy fees and disposition of same.  To direct, control, and/or prohibit vehicular and vessel traffic.

US Army Corps of Engineers Continuing Authorities Program.  Code of Virginia Section 62.1-148 re local cooperation.  See 62.1-149 for examples.
