This is an official notice of the General and Special Elections to be conducted in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Accomack County on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballot for the offices of President, Vice President, U.S Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, 2nd Congressional District, and a proposed constitutional amendment (see link below). Additionally, voters in all 14 towns in Accomack County will be casting ballots for mayors and town council members.
All Voters are asked to provide a valid ID at the time of voting or they will be asked to sign an ID Confirmation Statement to vote a regular ballot.
For individuals who choose to vote by mail, please see VA Code § 24.2-708 for guidelines regarding defaced, unused/unmarked, and lost/never received ballots.
